What this covers

Kinetic is an independent, solo-run focus timer — see the credit in the footer for who’s behind it. Using it means accepting what is on this page. If you do not accept it, do not use the app. Note that the timer itself works without an account, so there is nothing to sign away to try it.

Your account

Accounts are optional and free. Signing in works by emailing you a link, so anyone with access to your inbox can get into your account, so keep it secure. You can stop using the account whenever you like, and ask for it to be deleted by emailing privacy@kinetictimer.com.

Fair use

• ·Do not try to break into other people's accounts or data.
• ·Do not attack, overload, or probe the service.
• ·Do not resell Kinetic or pass it off as your own.

An account doing any of the above can be suspended or removed.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the courts there deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away the protections your own country gives you.

Changes and ending

These terms may change. Kinetic may also be discontinued. If that happens, anyone with an account gets reasonable notice and a chance to take their data with them.
